Contractor Participation Agreement

Participation is conditioned on owner approval, verification, current agreement acceptance, and any required payment or credits.

Independent business

Each contractor is an independent business, not an employee, franchisee, partner, agent, or representative of StormProofCheck. The contractor controls its own personnel, methods, pricing, estimates, contracts, taxes, warranties, and legal duties.

Licensing and insurance

The contractor must maintain every license, registration, permit, insurance policy, and qualification required for its services and service areas. It must promptly update expired, suspended, revoked, cancelled, or materially changed information.

Use of homeowner information

Information may be used only to respond to the authorized homeowner request. It may not be sold, transferred, added to unrelated marketing lists, used for repeated unwanted contact, or accessed after authorization is withdrawn except for lawful recordkeeping.

Professional conduct

No contractor may misrepresent damage, insurance coverage, licensing, affiliation, urgency, pricing, financing, warranties, or StormProofCheck’s role. High-pressure tactics, harassment, discrimination, kickbacks, impersonation, and unauthorized roof access are prohibited.

No guaranteed opportunity

Participation does not guarantee requests, appointments, jobs, revenue, exclusivity, territory, order, display frequency, or continued access. StormProofCheck may use a neutral internal process and may limit, pause, or reassign opportunities to protect homeowners and platform integrity.

Fees and refunds

Fees, subscriptions, and credits will be governed by the plan shown at purchase. Unless required by law or expressly stated, purchases do not guarantee conversion and used credits are not refundable.

Complaints and cooperation

The contractor must cooperate with reasonable verification, complaint, fraud, and safety reviews. StormProofCheck may request records and may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove a contractor.

Indemnity

The contractor will defend and indemnify StormProofCheck from claims arising from the contractor’s services, personnel, communications, contracts, legal violations, data misuse, or breach of this agreement.
