Information may be used to operate accounts, create property records, process homeowner requests, display approved contractor profiles, conduct verification, prevent abuse, communicate, provide support, process payments, maintain security, and comply with law.

Sharing

Homeowner contact and property information is shared with contractors only after homeowner authorization or where necessary to provide an expressly requested service. We may also share information with service providers, payment processors, hosting and email vendors, professional advisers, authorities when legally required, or a successor in a business transaction.

No sale of homeowner information

StormProofCheck does not sell homeowner personal information for unrelated third-party marketing. Contractors may not resell or repurpose homeowner information.

Retention and security

Records are retained for operational, safety, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system is completely secure. Users should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information.

User choices

Users may request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting StormProofCheck. Some records may be retained where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the platform and its users.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13. A parent or legal guardian should control any household submission.
