Contractor Code of Conduct

Participating contractors must communicate honestly, respect homeowner decisions, keep appointments or provide notice, protect private information, provide accurate credentials, comply with licensing and insurance requirements, use written agreements, avoid high-pressure sales practices, and leave property reasonably safe.

Prohibited behavior

Prohibited behavior includes false storm or damage claims, guaranteed insurance outcomes, pretending to represent StormProofCheck, entering property without permission, repeated unwanted contact, discriminatory conduct, retaliation, data resale, kickbacks, bribery, fake profiles, and any unsafe or unlawful practice.

Account action

Violations may result in warning, corrective action, suspension, removal, loss of unused promotional benefits, or referral to appropriate authorities.
